I LOVE our Designer Series Papers and have saved (well, actually hoarded!) quite a bit over the past 5 years. And I must admit, I think I would use them more if I only could remember which colors of card stock went with which papers. Is it Night of Navy or Not Quite Navy ... is it Pink Pirouette or Pretty in Pink ... those kinds of issues!
So ... I decided to create labels for every pack of DSP in the current catalog! It has the name of the paper in big letters, evey color card stock that matches, and in which catalog it was first published. [here's a sample] You can easily print them to Avery labels and adhere them to the card board pieces which come in every pack [I put them right above the "product" info in the lower right corner]

This is exactly what I thought when I saw this card when cruising the web the other day [the artist was Tracy but I can't find her site again - hate when I do that!]. I really like the simplicity of the layout ... it lets the message be the feature don't you think?
You need only a few supplies ...

From Our Hearts ... the non-profit group that collects, sorts, packs, and ships handmade greeting cards to over 40 Chaplins supporting our deployed military personnel. My customers and I have had several events over the past 2 years ... it's so much fun to get together and stamp, especially knowing that this particular group of cards will be sent to our troops.
This is a quick reminder that Mother's Day cards will need to be at the From Our Hearts office by Sunday, March 18th.
They also need cash donations for envelopes and shipping expenses. Crafting supplies are always welcome too! And, if you have card fronts, they have a team of volunteers who'll assemble them into full cards - so send them along too!

Designer Rosette Sizzix Bigz Die is a new item (#125594) on page 28 in our Occasions Mini Catalog. It was used as a backdrop for the beautiful scrapbook page I'm also showing here (click the image for a larger view).
First of all, I LOVE this layout as they have two smaller photos that compliment the feature picture. The green pennant pieces, which were inked with the Wedding Words Wheel, add a little interest. Did you notice that the smaller rosettes include a layer of our Waffle Paper? Again, something unexpected. The coral butterflies add to the ligh-hearted theme of the page. All in all, a lovely page that would be beautiful in a fame on the wal of the newlyweds and their parents!
