Reinking your Stamp Pads ... something I've mentioned a couple of times on this blog because your pads are a fundamental part of your stamping inventory and when you need them you've got to have them ready to go!
I posted a mini tutorial last year [click here to read it] and I just added another step (#4). I stress how important it is to make sure you add some ink right along the edge of the pad so it doesn't dry out. If it does dry out, the edges will start to curl, which will lift them ever-so-slightly from the pad, and then they'll rub against the cover, and then they'll start to fray, and then they'll get little strings, and then they'll look yucky and then if the strings are too long they'll stick outside the case and could rub against your cardstock and leave a stain!!! (follow all that?)
So to avoid all that aggravation, make sure you place a little ink right along the outside edge on all 4 sides of your pad and trust me on this 'cause I speak from experience!
Read the revised article with new Item #4 ... and you'll have all the tips you need to save money when reinking your stamp pads.
